NUMBER NINE BREWERY is brewing beer with the goal of creating the best starter drink under the concept of “Refreshing & Drinkable!”

Since the opening in October 2019, NUMBER NINE BREWERY has been brewing beers with a lower alcohol content to suit Japanese people, who have a slightly lower tolerance for alcohol than Westerners. Super Session IPA, with 1.2% alcohol, is NUMBER NINE BREWERY’s lowest alcohol craft beer.

We have brewed this beer with the passion that people who are not strong drinkers, people who like craft beer but do not want to drink it outside because it makes them flush, people who do not want to get drunk on the day, people who have a light meeting and want to enjoy it while drinking a little, etc., can enjoy this beer even if they do not want to consume strong alcohol for various reasons. This is a new genre of “low-alcohol” product that expands customers’ choices of “how to drink” in different situations and offers diversity in the way they drink alcohol.

Super Session IPA has a low alcohol content of 1.2%, but uses a generous amount of ingredients, enough to make a beer with an alcohol content of 5%. It is brewed using a special brewing method to create a low-alcohol craft beer with an authentic hop aroma, a firm throat feel, a pleasant bitterness, and a maltiness that lasts.

In light of recent changes in consumption values and lifestyles, we believe that more and more customers, regardless of gender or age, would like to “enjoy drinking and relaxing” and “choose the right drink for the right occasion”.
