April 11 Release: "Melting Passion Fruit Burrata" from cucina del NABUCCO will be available at HUGE online store "HUGEst." for a limited season!

cucina del NABUCCO, Italian restaurant in Ginza that produces hand-made fresh cheeses such as mozzarella and ricotta in the restaurant, will release “Melting Passion Fruit Burrata” for limited season.

It will be available at the HUGE online store “HUGEst.” from April 11 (Mon.), 2022.

The “Melting Seasonal Fruit Burrata” is filled with seasonal fruits in hand-made fresh Burrata cheese that we deliver every season.

This Spring, we introduce “Melting Passion Fruit Burrata” made with passion fruit from Okinawa, a bounty of the tropics which are now in season.

Passion fruit, with its fruity and sweet aroma, is one of the most aromatic tropical fruits, and the most enchanting fruits in the coming season. Although passion fruit has a image of summer, it is actually at its best right now.

We select passion fruit grown in the beautiful nature of Onna Village in Okinawa, where they have long hours of sunshine, and further ripen them, carefully choosing those that show signs of sweetness = wrinkles on the surface.

Along with the passion fruit, which has a rich sweet flavor and less sourness, we fill with our homemade “Lilikoi butter”, made with  luxurious passion fruit that goes well with burrata cheese.

Lilikoi is the Hawaiian name for passion fruit. The whole passion fruit from Okinawa, even the seeds, which accentuate the flavor and texture, are slowly simmered with selected Japanese butter, eggs, and organic sugar to make this premium. To give you the sweetness of the fruit itself, only a small amount of sugar is used, and the amount of passion fruit is much higher than that of the butter.

Burrata, which has been rapidly popular, is mozzarella cheese filled with “stracciatella” (fresh cream and thinly chopped mozzarella). We also put passion fruit and lilikoi butter together and shaped it into a cute drawstring shape.

When you stick your knife, a fresh, rich, sweet and sour tropical aroma spreads over the room, and the creamy fresh cheese, mozzarella, and pashion fruits come pouring out. Tropical and gorgeous fruitiness, juicy sweetness of lilikoi butter and refreshing acidity are a perfect match with the rich and milky fresh cheese. The flavor is completely different from passion fruit on its own.

The texture of the tiny seeds is another way to enjoy passion fruit. You can enjoy the passion fruit melts together with the burrata cheese in your mouth.

The enchanting “Melting Passion Fruit Burrata” is available during the limited season.
