Fresh and vibrant, exuding an elegant aroma. Notes of sour cherries and raspberries, along with hints of violets, licorice, cinnamon, and a subtle touch of vanilla and earthiness. The palate offers a fine and intricate texture, with linear acidity providing the structure that tightens the whole profile. The exquisite balance between juicy fruitiness and silky tannins is apparent.
Taking over Domaine Arlaud in 1998, Cyprien Arlaud, often deemed a “once in a century talent,” became the focus of attention. He leads the brand now known as “Cyprien Arlaud” (formerly Domaine Arlaud since 2019). By embracing the role of Négoce Viticole (a combination of farmer and wine merchant), he demonstrates a commitment to both honoring the terroir and contributing to the commercial prosperity of Burgundy.
From the upper slopes of premier cru vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, featuring 60-year-old vines (Vieilles Vignes), comes an elegant red wine characterized by high fruit freshness and a mineral essence.
